The official Web site for ABRAXANE for Injectable Suspension (paclitaxel protein-bound particles for injectable suspension) (albumin-bound). ABRAXANE for Injectable Suspension is indicated for the treatment of breast cancer after failure of combination chemotherapy for metastatic disease or relapse within 6 months of adjuvant chemotherapy. Prior therapy should have included an anthracycline unless clinically contraindicated. Please see Boxed Warning and Important Safety Information below. This website provides information about ABRAXANE and how it differs from solvent-based paclitaxel.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
This foundation is dedicated to eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through research, education, screening, and treatment. It raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research with its annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® events across the country. Services include a toll-free “Helpline” (1-800-IM-AWARE) staffed by trained volunteers. The foundation also funds research and other cancer-related programs.

 

Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization

Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization
This organization has 10 regional affiliates around the country and can provide more “localized” services. These include a 24-hour hotline staffed by counselors who are breast cancer survivors, a match program to pair patients with similar diagnoses, and monthly teleconferences with medical professionals followed by small group discussions with callers.
