This physician-founded organization offers information about treatment options and post-treatment care, 24-hour chat rooms, the latest research news, and more. It also offers occasional online conferences with breast cancer experts and images of different forms of breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Action
This site has information on how to take action to help put an end to the breast cancer epidemic. It also includes suggestions for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer as well as details pertaining to membership and support.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer
This organization provides current news about breast cancer and relevant clinical research studies through its Web site, patient networking conferences, and interactive teleconferences with experts on a myriad of breast cancer issues. The site also offers empowering stories about women living with breast cancer, as well as message boards.

Susan G. Komen For The Cure®
This foundation is dedicated to eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through research, education, screening, and treatment. It raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research with its annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure events across the country. Services include a toll-free "helpline" (1-800-IM-AWARE) staffed by trained volunteers. The foundation also funds research and other cancer-related programs.

Breast Cancer Network of Strength™
This organization has 10 regional affiliates around the country and can provide more "localized" services. These include a 24-hour hotline staffed by counselors who are breast cancer survivors, a match program to pair patients with similar diagnoses, and monthly teleconferences with medical professionals followed by small group discussions with callers.
